Guthrie's Chicken Fingers - Cleveland

It feels like this is run by children. No one knows what is going on, I see cooks eating while working, workers without proper food safety protocols, gum chewing, attitude. Why do I come here ?

I haven't been here in a while and I wish I hadn't went the other day. The best thing was the cole slaw and I'm not a fan of cole slaw. The fries were ok BUT the chicken was terrible. They were cooked fresh but I think to much batter was on them. They were so soggy, not crispy at all. They didn't have any flavor either. Tasted like I was just eating a plain piece of meat. If I hadn't use my own money I would have thrown this away. And the slice of bread OMG must have been soaked in oil. It was not the regular piece of garlic bread it was a regular slice of bread like you was going to make a sandwich. It was horrible. Not to take anything away from Guthrie because I know their food can be delicious its just the one in Steelyard. It must be the help. Maybe they are cutting corners and using a lower grade of chicken and being cheap using a slice of bread. I am done with eating at Guthrie's unless another one comes to the area. If I could give them no star I would. TERRIBLE!!!

Awesome chicken tenders and fries! We tried all the sauces and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Coleslaw kinda sucked.

This review is based on drive thru experience only. I was so surprised by Guthrie's! I visited after seeing the menu online and it felt as if it gave a similar vibe as Raising Cane's, which it definitely did, but wow was the food so much better! When you visit Cane's you expect very dry chicken and fries with a side of toast, but without much flavor, which can hit the spot at times. However, when you go to Guthrie's their food is so much more juicier and flavorful! The toast alone blew my mind! The fries didn't need ketchup like cane's fries do, and they had so many more sauce varieties! Main reason why this review is four stars and not 5 is because once again, this is just your traditional fast food chicken strip restaurant. I feel that Guthrie's could very easily add a few more items to their menu, such as desserts, and they would be a step above the rest! Definitely going to Guthrie's again to get my chicken fix!
