Grayton Road Tavern - Cleveland

This place is great close to the airport, great atmosphere, awesome service and the food is tops. If you are looking for a local place with upscale feel and good prices, this is it.

Great food and drinks, cool atmosphere, very reasonable prices, and great service. The menu offers plenty of great choices. Would love to go again.

Nov. 18. I go for breakfast through the week but on this occasion I went on Saturday. Got there at 8 when they opened. All the chairs were still up on the tables upside-down so the customers had to take them down themselves as they came in. The blonde girl behind the bar slowly made her way to the 8 customers who came in at the same time as me and took their drink orders. I ordered coffee and water. She brought it but no silverware and never came back to any if the tables and I never got the water. I found a supply on the far wall and got myself a spoon and napkin. 15 minutes later a girl walks into the restaraunt in a hurry and she ended being our waitress. Instead of getting right to work waiting on the customers, she went about her routine as if there weren 't any. Walking by be so fast and ficused on everything except the customers, she did hear me talk to her. When she finally made it to my table I ordered and ask her to turn this fan off above me because it was on high and blowing so much dust around that it looked like itvwas snowing. She turned it off. All the tables, which lit up brightly from the sun coming in the windows, showed a huge about of dust on them. The fans and air filtration definitely hasn 't been cleaned in quite some time. After my food came there was stil so much dust flying around that I barely ate any if. The bacon was barely cooked which never happens during the week. That cook is actually very good and the food through the week is quite good. However this weekend crew is terrible. The waitress then appeared quickly and placed my check on the table and without a can I get you anything else she dissappeared again seemed as though she didn 't hear me say excuse me but.... When she finally came back for the money, of course, I tild that the manager needs to know about all this dust and it unacceptable. That I couldn 't finish the meal because if it. She said well we normally wipe down the tables before we ooen but I got in late. But she had time to hang at the bar talking to co-workers instead of wiping them down for the customers still coming in. She took my money without apologizing for the dirty tables and heavy dust in the air or offfering any discount. Unprofessional, uncaring, and late for work. As big of a fan as I am of their breakfast, because of this waitresses poor customer service and the filthy surroundings I was expected to dine in, I won 't be back.

Went with a co-worker. Got the Jalapajack Burger. Very good burger. Cooked very well. Noticed that there were a lot of regulars having a great time!

Grayton has always been a place to get a cold beer, hot food and great service. That being said they Jimmy just added an outdoor smoker!! It is awesome. For this thing to be any better it would have to be self propelled. Vince has been smoking up delicious entries and offering taste tests to patrons. I highly recomend you stop out and sample the specials they have put together.
