Country Bake Shoppe - Cleveland

If you go to the picturesque Mennonite bakery, you can pick up a piece of paper and circle your sandwich options: you choose the type of bread, meat, cheese, toppings you want. Then you can choose a page (I chose the traditional potato salad). You make your sandwich and pack it and your side in a paper bag. There's a table to sit and eat, but most of them, I'm sure to take away their food. When we opened our lunch, there was a (surprise for me) sicker doodle cookie in it!!! I have to say this was by far the best doodle cookie I've ever had! We also took a huge carrot cake for my mother-in-law to Mother's Day. She was SO HAPPY with it! She lived in the northeast for a few years and misses the Mennonite baking she was used to. Perfect experience! I can't wait to go back!!!

I work in Cleveland, this place is perfection. Their sandwiches melt in the mouth with the taste of fresh bread. Also the desserts are definitely not disappointed. If you so make sure that you pass and visit. You will be pleasantly surprised with everything.

Wide variety of lush bakery goods; Full grain bread, yeast rolls, wonderful cakes, cookies etc. They also have Boar's Head deli meat and cheese. Why are you baking?

Yum! This place makes delicious sandwiches. Everything is so fresh, the sourdough bread was so fluffy, and the folks there were super friendly. Highly recommend it!
