Contribuiți la feedbackI visited this restaurant with a group of friends a little over a year ago, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience. Our server, who was a small blonde guy, was incredibly rude. He even used a homophobic slur directed at one of my friends, and quite a few people in our group identified as queer. We may have been a bit harsh with him, but it was a reaction to his poor attitude from the start. I really hope they’ve let him go by now. As for the food, it also didn't meet our expectations.
I wouldn't recommend visiting this restaurant. The previous reviews are spot on—service here is extremely poor. It seems the owner doesn’t care, as the staff clearly lacks motivation. The food was disappointing, and my table was dirty. I’m not sure who responds to the reviews on this page, but it seems like it’s the owner, and I haven’t noticed any improvements. They always suggest speaking to a manager for every issue, but why not take care of it yourself? It's time to reevaluate your operations and hire people who actually want to work. The CSU campus might choose this place for convenience, but once Shake Shack opens, you’ll likely be out of business. Thanks, but no thanks.
During my most recent visit, I ordered several burgers and fries, along with two milkshakes, and after waiting for 28 minutes, I finally received my food. When I inquired about my milkshakes, I was ignored. I had to return to the counter, where new customers had just arrived, and I apologized for having to come back, explaining that I still needed my shakes. The cashier informed me that I would have to wait because she was busy with other customers. At that moment, I noticed two grill cooks who were not actively cooking, while the cashier resumed taking orders. I apologized again and asked if my food could be placed under heat lamps since it was getting cold while I waited for my shakes. Fortunately, one of the other customers intervened and requested that the cashier assist me so I could finally get my order and leave. Overall, I found the customer service lacking and, at times, quite rude, as none of the other staff members offered to help during the unfortunate situation.
Even though the prices were inflated, the service mediocre, I always enjoy going to this restaurant until today when I showed up and got told that they were closing an hour early two days before Christmas for no particular reason and didn't have it listed anywhere except a tiny piece of paper on their front door. Even though the restaurant was full of people eating, playing pool, and enjoying their drinks they told me that I was unable to get food because they were closed. In my 20+ years in the service industry I have never met a restaurant so unwilling to make their patrons enjoy their visit and want to come back. Whatever you do do not eat here. The food isn't worth it, the staff isn't worth it, and the service is definitely not the quality anyone deserves. Happy holidays to me. I guess I'll be eating Burger King.
Was in walking distance from my hotel so it was a perfect stop- I got the Luther and was not disappointed! Sweet but savory. The ambience for mid-day was quiet and I was able to eat and be on my way quickly. Overall recommend!
