The Esso Club - Clemson

I absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing and cheap. We had the meat special which came with a choice of meats (friend chicken, steak tips, etc... And a choice of 3 sides (from a list of about 25 sides. The place is housed in an old Esso gas station. Tons of charm and a good beer selection.

Amy our server was patient funny and very helpful for our first time visit. Food was great and atmosphere welcoming. Thanks for a great time cold drinks and hot tasty food!! When we are in the area again we will be back!

The landmark of good food in Clemson with a wide variety of different meals. Changes of menus is frequently and there it makes sense to visit it quite often.

Overall: meh. Wouldn't go there as a first option, but I would not turn it down if someone wanted to go there. Caters to older crowd and regulars. Server seemed a bit bothered when asked for sauce. New pop country is all I heard while there. The food was decent. The price was a bit more than I expected, but the portions were sizeable, and the wings were quite large. Might I suggest treating every new face as a potential regular?

Very dirty do not eat there at all I saw roaches in food employees don't wear gloves at all seen waitress doing dishes and not washing hands the place has 40 to 60 min wait time please stay away from this place.
