Aux Rochers - Clécy

Very pleased to have visited here, beautiful rural restaurant. Great ambience and views over the river. Ordered scallops and they were very good and properly cooked, not always the case. Dorade was good, but could have been cooked a little less, but this is...personal preference no complaint. I'm sure you'd come back. Charming hostess!

We visited the end of the season and sat in the part of the restaurant that looks like a greenhouse. This area lacked atmosphere and while the service was friendly, the food beat us as an average with the exception of the crêpe flambé...with Calvados. That was good. At Aux Rochers nothing was wrong, but other restaurants do better.

Had the menu Normandie, which was about 19 € for starters, main meal and dessert, is a very fair price. The appetizers were not particularly good (Camambert croustililant dedidedly better than the other salad with lots of meat - mainly smoked lardons), but was better with the main...Meal ( chicken breast with mushroom sauce). If you order cheese as dessert, they will bring you large portions of three local (soft) cheeses with bread. You will not leave the place on an empty stomach! This is not particularly chic food, but it was good for the price and the service was good. Note that the restaurant is not really on the water as some others are, although it is just about it on the small road. No particularly romantic environment, but okay if you are looking for a decent meal.

After a great walk along the Orne in this beautiful Clecy, we could not miss to visit Aux Rochers. Quick and excellent service, traditional tasty food with lots of authentic taste. This place is highly recommended.

You can eat at any time, original and excellent dishes. impeccable and friendly service. A menu at 18,90 with a very good quality price ratio.
