Contribuiți la feedbackHad dinner at this restaurant. The buffet was okay, but there was an overwhelming amount of chicken in nearly every dish. Recently, the restaurant has decided to stop serving alcohol permanently. However, there is no information on their website or at the restaurant notifying customers of this change. The spices used in the dishes seemed to be toned down to cater to a child's palate. I wouldn't recommend this place unless it's for a kids' party.
Aakash is the largest Indian restaurant in the world and I live within it's delivery area. Although, even if I wasn't within it's catchment area I'd still make the effort to travel into Cleckheaton, just outside Bradford, to taste their food. The huge restaurant is big enough to have it's own coffee shop in the entrance, along with two big function rooms. The food is exquisite, every dish I've tried from Aakash has been a wonderful experience. Cooked to perfection, the portions are generous and the flavours ooze out of every bite. The staff are just as attentive of take-away and delivery orders as they are in the restaurant. If there's any confusion or delay you'll get a phone call to clarity, no need to chase them. Not that they make a habit out of arriving late, the friendly driver almost always gets here on time. There's complimentary popadoms with every meal, and if you want to order a basket you'll get a bag to share with the neighbours! You even get the obligatory after dinner chocolates delivered with your meal. Aakash has become a regular on my families dinner plates over the past year, and for very good reason. Give it a try if you're in West Yorkshire. It is really worth the visit.
The service and food at this restaurant were terrible. People were smelly and I was charged for food that was not suitable for human consumption.

This restaurant has just stopped serving alcohol on a permanent basis but there is nothing either on their website or at the restaurant to tell you this.Spices dumbed down to children's level.
