Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe Clearwater

I wish I could give more stars! The food, service, and attention to detail were absolutely incredible.

On a positive note, the online ordering process was straightforward, and my order was ready at the promised time, so at least that part went smoothly. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last visit, as I had high hopes and ended up feeling very disappointed. The price was also an issue; I spent $14 on a meal, and half of it ended up being discarded, which made it feel like a waste.

The woman at the counter seemed completely lost. I ordered food but never received my drinks. My meal and my son’s meal came out a full 15 minutes apart, while my husband’s to-go order was ready first. When I asked for my drinks for the third time, the lady insisted I hadn’t ordered any. I had requested water, and my son's drink was supposed to come with his kid's meal. She even had to check the menu to confirm this. As for the food, it was not good at all, making for a disappointing experience overall. To make matters worse, the same woman who took my order also prepared my food without washing her hands or wearing gloves initially. I nearly walked out at that point, but after I inquired if she was making my food, she finally put on gloves. When we visit friends in Hoover, AL, we always go to Tazikis, and the difference in quality and service is striking.

My gyro was amazing. Fresh cut meat, much different than the usual from the shaved skewer meats. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially the girl at the counter, Shea, and the cook Michael cooked it to perfection. I would have taken apicture to post with the review but it was so good that by the time I thought of it, my plate was empty. Will definitely visithere often.

Came here already couple times, they have great gyros, salad and amazing soups, will be back for sure
