Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Clearwater

Honestly not a great experience in the past 3 times I have gone. I have waited to write this review but it does not get better. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with mac and cheese no mac (which is normal for this location). Settled with fries that were limp and soggy. I understand though because it was the lunch hour so probably made a large batch. Tried my sandwich and it was not spicy and the chicken was so small it did not cover the bun. Mediocre experience at best. The main reason I gave it 3 stars is because the staff was super friendly and wonderful!

So disappointed ? twice the girl said spicy chicken and twice I said classic. I ordered a sandwich and Cajun fries for my dad. I wound up with rice and a dry sandwich. I would have expected more from this chain. I guess you just cannot get good help these days!

Food was amazing. I cannot believe how good their chicken tastes considering it 's fast food we both had the classic chicken sandwitch combo. The breading/seasoning on this chicken is full of flavor- tastes like home cooking. The staff was very pleasant and courteous which is hard to find these days! :

The service was prompt and pleasant. The food was hot and the red beans and rice great. The chicken breast nuggets were not overly fresh but they were not dry at least, BUT.. they had no napkins, eating chicken with my hands and not having a single napkin? You've got to be kidding me. I ate with my right hand to keep my left clean to get into my car for a wet wipe after eating.

I went through the drive thru and the worker had me pull into a parking spot to wait for my food which they said would take 6 minutes. After waiting in the parking spot for nearly 25 minutes and realizing other people were being helped, I had to go inside and remind them of my order. I realized once I got back into my car that some items were missing but I didn?t feel like waiting another 20 minutes. The food is good but service is not worth it.
