Papous Kouzina - Clearwater

Really great home cooked Greek food gyro are the. Best I've eaten in area including tarpon this place is a little gem right here in countryside they are always offering great specials and have been expanding their menu choices Nico is owner is very outgoing and will make you fell at home so if you live in countryside area no need to drive 35 min or more for home cooked Greek food it's right at your doorstep

It was a last minute decision to try Papous Kouzina, and man was it worth it. The service was great, such a friendly person. The restaurant was sparkling clean and well spaced. Now the important part, the food. The food was incredible. The gyros were nice, hot, good amount of meat and so flavorful. The Horiatiki salad was so fresh, the vegetables were all fresh and crisp, most assuredly fresh cut just for our order. We also ordered the tzatziki and pita plate, it was a really good good sized portion of tzatziki and a lot of toasted pita. Of course the child only wanted chicken strips, the child is also a french fry connoisseur and he definitely gave his stamp of approval. We finished the meal with Greek coffee. Everything was wonderful, if you haven't tried Papous Kouzina you really should. I know we'll be back.

Best Greek restaurant in the area, hands down! Authentic Greek gyro, specialty dishes, and even desserts like kataifi ekmek(which was literally AMAZING). Casual, friendly atmosphere, and the owner, Niko was so gracious. Stop reading reviews, just GO. You're welcome(because you will want to thank me)

I never realize that these wonderful place was around the corner from my home. I've been to other Greek places around me but I never been impressed by them especially not like this place. We decided to get the special which was buy one Gyro and get one 50% off. We have Mitho's beer with them. The owner took care of us, and he was super professional! The gyro was AMAZING! Fresh, the tzatziki dressing on point! delicious! The meat well done! It was really really a great Gyro! He gave us some cookies to try and I ended up buying 12 to take home. Clean! Nice and budget friendly. I recommend this place 100

I have been here four times in the two weeks since I discovered it! The food is fantastic. I would call the food moderately spiced and delicious! A young guy trying hard to make every dish great! You must give it a try! You won't regret giving it a try!
