Mike's Pizza Deli Station - Clearwater

Good food and awesome people..definitely a hidden gem

My experience was awesome. I'm always so happy when I go to Mike's. I will recommend anyone to eat here because it's the BEST!

The pasta shell wer way to hard. Like stale taste to them. And then had to listen to this lady talk about her prison time

Terrible “cuban” sandwich. No actual pork it’s just sliced deli meat. Very misleading for $11. Oh well maybe I’ll try something else next time.

I live in Tampa, but, recently, found a new job in Clearwater. Everyone was telling me that Mike's Pizza Deli Station was the VERY best pizza in Pinellas County. Well, I tried it today and wasn't too impressed. Cheese was definitely good quality, but the sauce was extremely bland and the pizza, as a whole was VERY doughy. Half the pieces were basically crust and not the good, crisp NY style crust, but over-baked doughy crust. Afterwards, the pizza actually tasted BETTER cold! That, in my opinion, is when you know pizza is mediocre. So, I wouldn't recommend this place. The pizza is actually very close in substance and taste to Westshore Pizza locations across the Tampa Bay area and they are not too good these days, either. So, if you like chewy, doughy pizza with no taste, this is the place for you. Also, their parking lot is basically gravel and pot-holes galore. I thought I'd get a flat-tire parking there! It must be AWFUL in the rainy season, muddy and dangerous. I was thinking of going back and trying a sub, but I think I'll pass. If people in Pinellas think this place is quality pizza, then they must be used to choices like Dominoes or Papa John's. I would have preferred either to Mike's Pizza. It at least would have been CHEAPER! Parking: Gravel parking area, pot-hole city.
