Little India - Clearwater

I have gotten take out/delivery from here about 3x in the past year and I eat Indian about 1-2x/ month. I really want to love this local Indian place. The portions are huge, prices are fair, and the food is fresh. I typically order chicken dishes, and the chicken pieces are large and cooked well. Lots of rice comes with your order. However, my chicken dishes are always flavorless. No matter what I’ve ordered, very little flavor. Also, perhaps my personal preference, I love Paneer naan and alway always always get it any time i have Indian. The paneer naan here is basically regular naan with a few bits of paneer sprinkled in, again not much flavor and poor value in my opinion. It’s time for me to move on and find another place close enough for delivery!

We had the buffet for lunch, and it didn't meet my expectations. The food was somewhat cold, and both the rice and bread were stale from sitting out for too long. The restrooms were in poor condition, with paper towels overflowing in the trash and even on the floor. None of the toilet paper rolls were properly placed in the dispenser; there was just a bare roll propped against the wall and the handrail. While the buffet area looked decent, the other side of the restaurant was quite messy. The total cost for the buffet was over $17 per person, excluding tip, which felt too pricey given the overall experience. I would recommend looking elsewhere for Indian cuisine.

I really enjoyed the lunch Indian buffet. I learned that the food is from North India, which is why it’s not overly spicy. I personally prefer spicier dishes, so I rated it 4 out of 5. Otherwise, the flavors were excellent. I would suggest adding more lunch options and addressing the flooring to enhance the atmosphere. Improving those two aspects would definitely elevate the experience to a 5-star level.

I had a wonderful dining experience here. While it might not be the best Indian food I've ever had, it certainly exceeded expectations. The wait time was longer than I would prefer, and the appetizers could have arrived sooner to keep our spirits up. They might be experiencing some staffing issues. The exterior appears a bit neglected and could benefit from a significant makeover.

It was good food and drinks and service is very friendly. Very good price. Our chicken was a bit salty and they were very understanding and even took it off our charge. She was well respecting. She (our server). Overall it was a pretty decent restaurant
