Great place to have fun great personal and cool place with surrounding bars, etc. we had a lot of fun here!

Eating was absolutely amazing, I would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Puerto Rican meal.

When we arrived, we told the hostess we had a reservation. she looked at us and she said they didn't make any reservations! I then tried to explain that I had made it on the open table app, she said they did not honor any reservations. that the location a first come first serve base

Large red and white sangria pork with guave was moist and the taste was excellent

Finally! A restaurant that serves mofongo as good as I get in San Juan. Had a great dinner at La Fondita on Saturday night with spouse. Started off with nice green salads a mixture of lettuces and a very good citrus vingerette. Then we both had mofongo as an entree. He had his with shrimp in garlic sauce. I had the chicken with white sauce. Service was great, everyone was very friendly. Only negative was the chicken was a little dry for my taste and it could have used a little more white sauce. Very large portions took home enough for lunch the next day. We'll be back soon and bring along some friends. Very happy to have found La Fondita.
