Ken Sushi Asian Bistro - Clearwater

I tried the Sashimi Platter, which showcased all the best offerings Ken had available. It was a delightful array of different sashimi types, flavors, and textures. Starting with my favorites, I enjoyed New Zealand King Salmon Belly, Bluefin Otoro, Bluefin Chutoro, Swordfish Belly, Bluefin Tuna, Monk Fish Liver, Sea Bream, Hawaiian Yellowtail, Icelandic Char, Australian Albacore, Spanish Branzino, and several others that I can’t quite recall. Absolutely amazing!!

The name truly says it all—it's a bistro! Although it's a small venue, it's always packed! It can be quite challenging to secure a seat here, but we managed to do so. The menu features some unique types of sushi, and this place definitely earns an A for the best presentation in the entire area. Each dish is a work of art! The entrees are freshly prepared, and the soup is incredibly flavorful. I highly recommend that you give this place a try if you have the opportunity!

Attention all sushi aficionados! In my opinion, this place offers the best sushi in the Tampa Bay Area. The quality of the fish is exceptional and literally melts in your mouth. You can clearly see that the sushi chefs are passionate and dedicated to creating outstanding dishes. I was initially hesitant because it's located in a strip mall, but once inside, you’re transported to a cozy restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. The space is very clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It made for a wonderful birthday celebration, and we will definitely return! Just a heads up: if there’s a wait for a table, it's absolutely worth it, and waiting for the chef to prepare your meal is worth it too because everything is FRESH!

Our daughter wanted Sushi from her birthday so we decided to give this place a try. They were able to seat our party of 7 right away. The seating area is small but the layout maximizes seating. Service was great. We started with apps fried calamari, gyozaand tempora shrimp. The fried calamari was extra chewy but the other apps were really good. My husband didn't seem to mind thechewiness. Ken's has a variety of rolls to choose from. We choose the dragon roll and baba roll both were great. We alsoordered two orders of fried rice for the kids and they devoured it! So glad we found a sushi spot we like, also try the Thai icecoffee, it's yummy!

Clean small cozy place. Sushi was great. Dessert was delicious! Presentation was pretty. However, the staff on this day were all bunched in a group in one corner by the register, snickering/laughing looking at my family other customers. That was quiteuncomfortable awkward. Other than that, food was good.
