Frenchys To Go - Clearwater

I called ahead to place my order and picked it up while I was passing by. Everything was prepared and tasted just as delicious as I had hoped.

The atmosphere would have received a higher rating if it weren't so close to the noisy Highway 19. However, I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich with coleslaw, and it was delicious. The portion of coleslaw was a bit on the small side, but overall, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent!

I spent $46 on a grouper sandwich, a kids' shrimp meal, and an order of grouper nuggets. The shrimp was chewy, and both the grouper nuggets and sandwich didn’t taste fresh; they had an off flavor. They also forgot one coleslaw, and the one I did receive had gone sour. The fruit cup contained old, mushy fruit. I won’t be returning to this location.

I love Frenchys and would give it five stars but like a lot of restaurants, I can no longer eat here due to my severe allergy to soy. Frenchys had always good cuisine and I recommend to everyone.
