Cooters Raw Bar & Restaurant

We went with a group of friends for the all u can eat snow crab. It was wonderful. We had the best service. We never had to wait for reorders of crab. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Cooters was recommended by a friend who lives in Clearwater. We were looking for a fun, casual place with good food. We sure found it here! Awesome Grouper Dinner and King Crab Dinner. Both of our dinners came with 2 sides (try the black beans rice – yum! and a loaf of dark bread. The service was excellent and we truly enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed sitting on the patio. We are going back tomorrow for lunch to try their peel eat shrimp and burgers.

Food was excellent,and affordable. I had the NY strip this was a monster steak. Service was friendly and prompt. If you get a chance check out the sports bar its open late. We had a blast with the bartender late night.

F you like dumps where the owner sits at the bar and gets drunk all day, then picks fights with the customers then this is the place for you ! If you like frozen food you can get at any grocery store than this is the place for you. If you like fat disgusting waitresses that try and get you to spend every dime they can, than this is definitely the place for you. If you’re like me you’ll go to any of the fine Frenchy’s establishments or Crabby Bills for a REAL Florida meal. This place was voted best Florida restaurant ? By who? This tiny beach community? It definitely wasn’t by anyobe with taste, nor from the other side of the bridge. DON’T EAT HERE ! EVER !

We just visited Clearwater Beach! We stayed at the Hilton and they highly recommend Cooters! So we gave it a try, thinking we would grab a beer and an appetizer! Well, we grabed a few cold beers (happy hour was great! Enjoyed the Hot Crabby Shrimp appetizer and stayed for dinner!! We really enjoyed ourselves – great food, atmosphere and service! We will definatly go back next year when we visit Clearwater Beach again!
