Aunt Lu's Cafe - Clearfield

Everything was delicious! I ordered the burnt ends with baked beans and garlic parmesan fries, along with a side of spicy cheese curds. Our server was very friendly.

I forgot to take pictures again (sorry about that)! The breakfast was served hot, came in a generous portion, and had great flavor. The black coffee was also excellent! I highly recommend trying their breakfast, especially the make-your-own omelette!

I was really disappointed with this buffet. I hadn't visited in almost a year, and it felt like I was eating the same food I had before—perhaps even the exact same dishes. The restaurant itself is clean, and our waitress was nice. However, they should really reconsider their sign boasting about how great their chicken is because it definitely did not live up to the hype.

How anyone can give a bad review of this place is beyond me. If the food wasn't cooked right that's a chef issue. This restaurant is great. Old school truck diner. The most lovely waitresses I've ever met and not a zillion things to choose fromjust simple and delicious. This will be a regular stop everytime I am on the 80 now.

Was greeted as soon as I sat down and ask what I would like to drink. Browse at the menu that is always at the table. Ordered the smothered chicken entree which states on the menu comes with vegetable the day garlic toast and one side. Told my waitressI would like fries as my side. I received my meal and all it was was one piece of smothered chicken which was pretty smallportion and a decent size portion of fries. My waitress never came back to check on me. When she did come back it was just todrop off my bill. Looked at my bill and I got charged $14.99 for my meal which is the smothered chicken entree price. I couldnever get her attention so I asked another waitress if she could get my server for me so I can talk to her about my bill. Sheasked me what was up and I told her there was no way I was paying $14.99 for a piece of chicken and fries but I did not receivethe garlic toast or my vegetables. I'm assuming she was a manager cuz she said she would take care of that. She ended uptaking 10% off my bill which was not a whole lot. It's nice having a sit-down restaurant being open for truck drivers still butthe service was poor on a Friday night.
