Monterey is so petty, they charge a high gratuity, they charge for extra tortillas , they nickel and dime everything you order, it's sad because the African American community support them and they never support our neighborhood, I will never go back here again it was a real mistake to spend a dime here.

I live off N Druid Hills and come here every time I want some great food. This is my spot! I love the people and the food. So worth the drive. I go home full and have left overs.

So this spot is not too far from my job. The drinks are nice and they are not as pricey as some Mexican spots (that are on the other side of Tara Blvd. … The service is always friendly and it has somewhat of a mom and pop feel to it. I would recommend this spot to other but I don’t want it to get too popular and crowded so I be gate keeping. I don’t have any pics but this is one of my fave spots. I love the quesadillas.

Hands down, some of the best Mexican food here in Clayton County! New to the area my husband and I, so we thought to stop by and we did not regret it. The service at Monterrey Mexican Restaurant is top-notch! Esteban was friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Definitely will be coming back!
