Salsa Azteca - Clayton

We loved Salsa de Azteca in Knightdale and were sad it closed down. We finally got to visit its sister location in Clayton. The food was as delicious as the Knightdale location. We'll be going back often, I am sure.Kid-friendliness: I'm grateful the kids meals options include hamburgers and chicken tenders as well as Mexican foods.

After a hard day working in the yard decided to give this place a try. I was hungry so ordered the Cielo, Mar, y Tierra. It was a lot of food so I took the steak and chicken home. The fish(probably tilapia) was okay, the shrimp was good. The steak and chicken seasoned well. Enjoyed the chips and the bean dip, the salsa bar is a nice touch. The margarita was tasty.

The food is great, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere very authentic. If you like beans you'll love the bean dip with nachos. I highly recommend this restaurant, it was totally a pleasant experience.

Discovered this was less then 2 miles away and enjoyed our evening! The chips come w bean dip and then there is a salsa bar with multiple flavors. The food was excellent w enough for tomorrow lunch. We had house margaritas too! This is the best Mexican restaurant I have been too since moving to the area.The salsa bar is a selling point for me. Different salsas and most have a pretty good spice- which is a must for me. The service is great. Our waitress was very kind and was able to answer our questions.The atmosphere is welcoming and enjoyable.The portions are generous and the food deliciousThis will be part of my restaurant rotation and recommended to everyone looking for a good Mexican restaurant.
