Contribuiți la feedbackOrdered home delivery from these guys as our regular Chinese was shut... Prices relatively cheap and servings quite large; the entrees we ordered were nice; the beef and black bean sauce should have been called barely cooked onion with a little bit of beef and almost no sauce; fried rice was greasy and had an odd flavor; honey chicken was good. Not really very good at all; definitely won't do that again..
The food was way too expensive for the quality. We were disappointed to find that the sweet and sour pork was just deep fried pork (emphasis on the fried) that was accompanied by a terrible dipping sauce that just burnt your throat. As well as this, we ordered beef and cashew nuts, and we received something entirely different. It didn't even have cashew nuts! The fried rice was okay but the honey chicken was tough and overcooked, which can be said for most of the food that we tried. Overall we left feeling heavy and gross and definitely won't be eating there again. There are plenty of chinese places in the area that are half the price and ten times the flavour.
Located in a small shop in a shopping strip near the Eagle Junction railway station this restaurant is a very average looking Chinese "take away" establishment. Little more than a counter at whch to place your order, a couple of tables and chairs and a kitchen at the rear.. Decor is basic and in need of a bit of TLC.Parking is in the shopping centre car park or on the street.Service is friendly and prompt. Food is what you would expect of this kind of establishment - nothing outstaning or exceptional. Prices are reasonable. Probably no better or worse than lots of similar Chinese restaurants.
As far as Chinese restaurants go, this is definitely a good takeaway option. Trusty favourites are always yummy, service is excellent, and I like that they tailor meals a bit to my request. My kids adore the honey chicken (and won't eat it anywhere else), plus I love the crispy beef (a chef's special, very tasty). It's very casual and while you can eat in, it's not set up to be a dine-in restaurant. It's our go to local Chinese, but I have tried other local Chinese restaurants and this is by far the best.
This place is great for local Chinese food... always get the special fried rice and Mongolian lamb my favourite! They've been around for ages and always have tasty Chinese food takeaway~
