Contribuiți la feedbackWe ordered two dishes and arrived at the restaurant by 5:15 PM. However, we didn't receive our food and drink refills until 6:30 PM. Not a single staff member informed us about being short-staffed or acknowledged the long wait, and no one checked in to see if we needed a beverage refill during that hour. It felt inconsiderate, and because of this experience, we won’t be returning. The flavors of the food were just average; if you're looking for that signature sweetness in Tikka masala, you won't find it here. On a positive note, the hummus was quite good.
The food was delicious, and the server was extremely helpful. You can choose between a regular table or a booth, or opt for a traditional seating arrangement where you sit on a carpet around a low table with cushions. This is definitely a fantastic Indian restaurant for dining in or taking out.
Fantastic Indian cuisine! I've seen some other reviews mentioning the prices, and while it is on the higher side, it’s still reasonable. You'd likely pay the same or even more for lower-quality food at many chain restaurants along Wilma, which is just off the road. The atmosphere here is lovely, and the traditional tables add a nice touch. Interestingly, Morgan Freeman dined here a few years back, which I found out from an article on the wall and then researched afterward. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. I'm not vegetarian, but the first time we visited, a waitress recommended a vegetarian option that I absolutely loved, and I've been ordering it ever since. From what my vegetarian friends have told me, many restaurants treat vegetarian options as an afterthought, but that’s definitely not the case here. The fried eggplant dish I enjoy stands up well against the various curries my husband has tried. We've visited 3 to 4 times, and the food has always been consistently excellent.
Nice interior. But I can?t forget Indian food that I ate in Japan. It was really great, so I gave 3 star. And price was kind of pricy.
This is what a $18 dish look like before tax/tip (not including a 18% automatic gratuity and a $2 tip written in making my total $24). The waitresses kindness threw me off, I assume she is well aware that the tip is built into the total on the receipt. Isimply feel ripped off. Perhaps the gratuity should be made more noticeable on the credit card merchant copy of thereceipt. ?not to mention the portion size was small, the food was warm, and it took a long time to prepare. No to go utensils, napkins or a receipt of sale. I felt the entire experience unwelcoming and bad business practice. As a customer I feel a bitscammed.
