Spillway Lodge - Clarksville

Well the food here is EXCELLENT. I did something tonight that I have never done before. I got a strawberry shortcake dessert to take home. Much to my SURPRISE when I got home my 8.95 dessert wasn’t worth 2.00. I was shocked at what I got. 1 round dessert cup, about a teaspoon full of strawberries and a little cup of whip cream. OMG ? The food is excellent but I would strongly recommend SKIPPING the DESSERT.

I ordered grilled prime rib but it didn’t look or taste anything like prime rib and it was over cooked. Green beans had no flavor. Salad bar was fresh. Not a place we will return to.

I got the rib and shrimp with baked potato, everything was delicious. Glad I finally found this place ,was my first time but won't be the last. Also got a great seat with a great view.

5 seniors went on tuesday just as they opened. Hadn't been in long time was so looking forward to it. Placed order with cocktail. As server Amy i believe went by table ask if she had forgotten wine drink. Her reply was she had other things to do . Would get it when she could. Needless to say our visit was spoiled with this remark. Understand short staffed but there were 2 other servers not that many tables occupied. Told who may have been manager not sure she was of this remark. Later drink came n server set it down without a word. After meal server said she was sorry she had ruinned our time n next time to ask for a other server . Wow! This server was quite rude even when informed by management? Will not return. Plenty of nice restsurants that know how to treat people. Perhaps she felt we would not tip well so we were not worth her trouble. Since we had worked in food also we know their depend on good tips n we do tip well for good service. Didnt get it here treated very poorly. Cross this place off if you want to be treated nice

Very nice place, but a little too noisy for me. And too many flies buzzing around our food and table.
