Homemade Ice Cream Pie Kitchen

Ordered a cake for granddaughter birthday on 5/20/23...Did not take the cake from the box until it was time for the party... the cake was very unlevel and not even square... paid $57for it and it looks like a kindergartner baked it...reached out vía email and have never heard again... last October I ordered one and had to wait until wrong words corrected... bad service...wont be back

Since my original rating was removed from 04MAR23, the rating was dropped by 1 star and I will not return to this place. On 04MAR23 I ordered a banana column, a piece of carrot cake and a piece of rhubarb cake. Customer service was good, and the banana split was very good. The carrot cake was excessively sweet for my taste, but was still good. The rhubarb pie, as best as I can describe it, tasted of chemicals and mildew. It was like inhaling in freshly cleaned public toilet with an additional touch of sweet and tart. I couldn't bring it past a bite and throw it away.

My sister's husband wanted us to stop here. I was very happy with my apple cake. The staff couldn't have been nicer. It was so surprising that it was open at 8:00. I will recommend

You haven't beaten a cream on your coconut cream bee, it's just on the cake now. Seeing an employee, eating while making cakes. It won't be back.

Just about everything we've tried from here has been delicious. Some of the cakes do have a bit of artificial flavor (such as the strawberry), but the yellow cake with chocolate icing is scrumptious. The chocolate silk pie cake is also good.The pies are our favorites. We've tried the chess, double crust apple, coconut cream (my personal fave), cherry, strawberry rhubarb, and pecan. The crust is consistently delicious, as well as the filling--the apples aren't crunchy, nor the cherries too tart, the chess pie is crispy/flaky on top and moist in the middle, etc.This place is popular and busy, so we generally do takeout.
