Dae Bak Chophouse - Clarksville

I felt right at home welcomed by the great customer service! I love how Tammy explains everything about what you're eating her mom even came over to feed my spoiled niece (NOW THAT'S LOVE)! The food was absolutely delicious,even took some kimchi home! I read a previous review about someone wishing music played in the background. I actually appreciated a moment to disconnect and have conversation over great food. We had the fried rice and jack fruit Korean fried chicken. ALL OF THE SIDES ARE AMAZING! We will definitely be back to try another dish...or TWO

Something of a dive that you need to look for as it's in a small strip center a little off the road. Price seemed high and then you notice the portion size, it was large. The best part, it tasted really good. The lady who owned it does not speak much English, but it added to the charm and she had an all Army family as both her kids and husband was in the service. You definitely should visit.

Edit: So I have increased my rating to max stars. I have come back several times since first review and this restaurant has not disappointed. The food is so flavorful. Broth in stews is awesome. Spices in meat dishes are superb. Every dish is distinct in its flavor. Heck i had the chicken wings and they were so delicious. If you are looking for something made like fast food this is not it. Food is made to order so larger parties might have to wait a little longer. They also serve side dishes of assorted kimchi. Food is delicious Full of flavor Portions were sizable. Decor is not much of anything but the food and service definitely make up for it. Plenty of parking Prices were reasonable. Dining area has about eight to ten tables so plenty of seating for the entire family. It was very quiet while I was there. They could play some music or turn a tv to break the silence. This is definitely my new Korean food business to go to from now on.

The portions are very generous, banchan (side dishes) are freshly made, and prices are great. Its location may seem hard to find, but don?t let that deter you- the food is excellent and high quality. Strongly recommend!

I visit Clarksville every couple of months to see my older aunt and always order to order during my stay for our dinner. The portions are very generous, Banchan (side dishes) made fresh, and the prices are great. Its location may seem difficult to find, but do not let that deter you - the food is excellent and high quality. Very recommended!
