Camacho’s Famous - Clarksville

We had heard great reviews about their Italian beef sandwiches—one of our favorites. However, when the waitress returned from the kitchen, she told us they were out of Italian beef. Seriously? This was 90 minutes after opening! Running out of a popular item has nothing to do with being short-staffed. We ended up ordering a Chicago deep dish to go and enjoyed our beers in the meantime. Unfortunately, the crust was dry and bready rather than crispy and buttery, and the pie itself was quite shallow. We were really hoping for a great experience after missing Chi Town. The one bright spot was seeing so many Chicago sports fans in their team apparel, especially the Cubs!

The food was excellent and the service was outstanding for a new establishment. The staff was very attentive.

I'm from chicago and the hot dog in chicago was pretty good. the thin crust pizza was also on point. I'm glad we can finally have these favorites of home here in clarksville!

This restaurant is still finding its way. The menu is quite limited, featuring only four types of pizza, which can be ordered as thin crust, stuffed, or deep dish. If you choose the stuffed or deep dish pizza, be prepared to wait, as it takes 45 minutes to an hour to prepare, and possibly even longer during busy times. In addition to pizza, they offer Italian meatball sandwiches, hot dogs, salads, fries, and fried mushrooms as appetizers. For dessert, you can enjoy tiramisu and cannolis. They also serve beer and Coca-Cola products. During our visit, we ordered a water, a Dr Pepper, a thin crust pizza, and a meatball sandwich, and our total came to just under $40. Note that there is a surcharge for using a credit card.

Appreciate the transparency on wait times- our deep dish was still made reasonably quickly. Appetizers came out within a few minutes! Saw staff actively checking on everyone. Good experience good Chicago style pizza if that’s what you’re looking for
