Happy Garden Chinese - Clarksburg

I am disappointed that my beloved Chinese restaurant that I have been going to for 30 years did not have enough respect for me to offer a refund or credit, which I have never asked for before. It seems that they have had a new owner for a few years now, but tonight's meal was inedible. The sweet and sour chicken was tough, the pepper steak was chewy and meager, and the crab Rangoon was cold. It was a terrible experience. When I asked for a refund or credit and explained why, they refused. I was under the impression that they were closed for Thanksgiving for 5 days.

We basically drive from fairmont about all 2-3 weeks to order their cheese wontons. they are my older mother's favorite thing, but the last two orders, either they got a new cook, changed the recipe or got new property. the sommestons were perfectly cooked on the outside and so creamy and full on the inside. the last 2 times fried rock hard and the filling was much less and very dry. does anyone have the 411? is the change permanent or temporary? no reason to make a special trip if the quality remains poor, can we terrible cheese competitions everywhere lol

They close to random times. once I ordered to garnel chow mei fun, it had no noodles in it, went to take it back and they were closed. within a 10min time frame, about 630 a.m. on Friday. then I stopped today to try to get some egg rolls (the only reason I even bothered to go) at the door was open, but the guy said "no order because we are out of eating" at 19 a.m. on Friday, when I get something, they are good. but the probability to get something is random and rare more. I'm going somewhere.

Are they open? every time I call that they were closed and today is Friday 30th. July..not a normal day will be closed. so confused..

The food at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the dishes.
