North 40 Tavern Grill - Clarkesville

Our crew finally made it over to North 40 Tavern Grill, and oh my *word*! So many different kinds of wings, delicious unique salads, and the pizza was unlike any we have had. We of course love a hometown mom pop business (since we have one ? , and their love of and pride in their ingredients and dishes was so inspiring! They are also supporters of my talented cousin, Ethan Phillips, and have had him play at their cozy venue. If you haven't had a chance to try them out yet, we definitely encourage you to!

First time here and absolutely loved the pizza. We had the white pizza and every ingredient seemed fresh and plentiful. The crust was crisp on the outside and incredibly soft on the inside. We sat outside on the rear patio and enjoyed the cool evening. Was great to have the chef deliver the pizza to our table and serve up the first slices. Also had a great chat with both the chef and his wife on getting the restaurant up and running. So glad to have another location in the Clayton/ Clarksville area to eat at. Only downside was the cigarette smokers allowed to smoke on the patio. Support local!

If you're in the area and hungry, North 40 is a must! They have the best pizza and wings. If you like salad, the Buratta is a great choice. It's obvious they use high quality ingredients and care about their food. Very cute inside and out. The owners are a sweet, hard-working young couple. We were only in the area for a few days and we ate there twice. Parking is a little tricky. Enjoy!

Y’all…remember that scene from Ratatouille where Remy and Emile took a mushroom and some cheese and headed to the roof to cook it only to get struck by lightning and create a mind blowing dish?!? That was me and my wife when we decided to eat here on a random Tuesday night. We had the White pizza, 6 lemon pepper and 6 Korean bbq wings. We travel the state fairly often for work and have never had pizza this good. I’ll be honest the outside and inside ain’t nothing to write home about, but when that man brought out that pie and wings, we was transported to Italy, home of the pizza. I’d dare say, this may have been the greatest pizza I have ever eaten…and it didn’t even have a drop of meat on it! I’m a meat lover pizza guy, but this pizza took the cake. They will be serving this pizza in Heaven. Hope to see y’all there!
