Smelter Town Brewery - Clarkdale

Hands down best beer north of PHX. A must stop when in cottonwood/Jerome area. Friendly staff. Tasty beers. Chill environment. Live Music happening on weekend it seems too. Bring your own food or order pretzel bites. ?A beer? will become couple.

This place has really good beer! The Rusty Winch is one of the best Scottish Ales I've had. The hazy IPA, and Milkshake IPA were also very good. The Modern Miner, the milkshake ipa, was not overly sweet and flavorful. They don't have a lot of food options on the menu, and the night I was there they were just closing down the kitchen, but they allow you to bring in outside food. Which we ended up getting a pizza from across the street at Main Street Cafe, and it was delicious.

Just passing through and stopped in for a pint and a flight. Tried the chocolate milk stout, watermelon blonde, etc but i think my fave was the sour. Bluebeery cheesecake, yes please! Loved the old brick walls, too.

We have been here a few times and it is a nice spot to grab a cold local beer. They have the best pretzel bites as well. This place is Clean and neat and the staff are really good to you.
