McDonald's Restaurant - Clarenville

Passing through clarenville on Friday in storm just wanted a tea and Danish something quick not good on roads.pulled up to drive through gave order, went to first window. Waited and waited, had to put window up cas snow drifting , I just got out...from hospital having surgery, we waited so long someone came back from front to see what was happening but she wouldn't look at us just keep on looking at screen, after we waited for another while my husband just pulled up to the other window to see what was the matter. Will this lady said I can't take your money and the other lady got a big order , she said it's not my fault, didn't give my husband his tea would have to go around drive through again we left after waiting 15 mins she should have given it to him anyways,If she had a big order or not she should have taken our money ,cas tea was made and getting cold, worst service ever in any drive through

Stopped off here on our travels around the island. At times this small place can be quite busy. We both had a coffee and a muffin. The usual food choices are available as well. It has been recently renovated and the eating areas are a...bit larger to accommodate obvious growing demand. Service was quick.

AVOID the drive through.. Ive had my food literally thrown out the window at me.. they are always messing up breakfast, its almost like they do it on purpose.. I 've gotten egg, lettuce and tomato bagels when Ive ordered a BLT. They also like to...give sausage McGriddles.. when you order Sausage Cheese and Egg McGriddles.The coffee can be hit or miss... and last but not least, in the drive through they never give you your receipt.. so you cant fill out the customer satisfaction survey Watch them carefully.

I was driving from St. John's across the entire province of Newfoundland to Gros Morne National Park and left very early in the morning. By the time I reached Clarenville, I was starving, so I pulled into the McDonald's, which turned out to be the...cleanest McDonald's I'd ever seen. The Egg McMuffin was fine, the service was fast and friendly. You know what you're getting, or what you're supposed to get, when you pull into a McDonald's, but you get it here better than at any other McDonald's I've ever been to. It was so good that when I was returning to St. John's from Trinity, I made sure to stop in again and wasn't disappointed.

Given the fact that it is newly renovated it is much more inviting than having to sit on the old plastic seats. you may want to check to ensure your order is hot as theres a chance that your hashbrown may have gotten cold while...waiting for your entire order.
