What an amazing place! Learnt so much on the tour. Kids loved it. So much to take in and be amazed by!

What an interesting day spend with very interesting people and exhibits.

Very good for people of Dutch heritage and beautifully maintained I would have liked to have seen more of the history of the building as a gaol and more history of the coloured community for example, Harold Cressy's contribution to education in the area. Harriet, the curator, deserves six stars for her informative discussions of the history of the area and for her dedication to educating local children and visitors alike.

Herschelle welcomed us and it was clear he is pasionate about his job. Very interesting place, well worth the visit
