Bertolone Italian Cafe - Clanton

We were in their restaurant several times. we have online reservations 2 days ahead, but they do not record when we arrive. many tables were available so it was not a big thing. the size and quality of the salate seems to have been significantly lower since our first. very simple and very small. the service was good when we arrived, but we had to ask for water fillings during the meal. we had to ask the manager to get us water.

Best Italian, since we moved back to alabama! first kanaloni since we moved!

They were very good. they were from the three-fold chocolate cake at 18 o'clock. very disappointed. instead we took the almond-fry cake. it was just ok. a little dried out as if it had been cut too long and left free in a cooler. only not the quality as we visit earlier. the service was not good, but it seemed to be of suppression and not of our waitress fault. she had to answer the phone and clear tables. she has repeatedly apologised and not charged us for the cake. we will come back, but the overall experience was not as good as we expected.

Great eating at a great price. for a small town we are very blessed to have such a wonderful restaurant.

Bertolone was delicious! Just like when they use to be at Joe's Italian. Every part of our meal was fantastic from the top to the bottom. My only wish is that they could move closer to Birmingham. Great food, great people who own this business!
