La Vieille Rome - Clamecy

The staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious. Menu choices were good. The food was very tasty and quite expensive. Would recommend.

With the family a warm summer evening. Perfect setting for casual dinner. Pizzas at 12 € each and large gourmet salad at the same price. Also a special children's menu for €8 including pizza, drink and ice cream. We arrived early and had a good service. Since it was more busy, the service became slower, but still friendly. Recommended for the view and family-friendly environment.

We visited this restaurant three different times during our stay in Clamecy. The pizza are delicious and the salads generous. The entreé are also delicious and reasonably priced. The local wine selection is good and also reasonably priced. The service is quite friendly, and this...place seems particularly popular with the weekday office lunch crowd.

In couple, with children (even much) or with friends, we have tested all possibilities and everything works. It's a nice pizzeria; not very large but that offers a really pretty terrace facing the collegial Saint-Martin... quiet between shade and sun!the map has nothing exceptional but for a lunch break or a pizza dinner, it's perfect.
