Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Clair Shores

This is one of the best Tropical Smoothie Cafes in the tri-county area. The place is clean, the staff tends to know what they are doing, and it takes the minimum amount of time (which is still around 10-15 minutes depending on how many orders are in) required to get orders out. It's our go-to one.Vegetarian options: Let's face it, most of the menu is fruit and vegetables with ice. You can do a lot with that. The main menu does have some vegetarian options like cheese quesadillas and some vegetarian sides. Mostly it's about the smoothies.Dietary restrictions: They will add what you ask them to add and keep out what you don't want in your drinks.Parking: It's a hopping plaza, so the traffic is constantly coming and going. You can probably find a spot quickly, but you may need to hunt.

The food and smoothies are always great at this location, so I normally don't mind driving further to come here. The customer service is never anything to write home about but the woman that I can only assume is training for a manager based on her lack of customer service skill and impatienece was excruciatingly awful and I think I'm just going to have to move on.I came in with my daughter, who I said would need a minute. My daughter went to the restroom and came back and while I was confirming her order with her the woman proceeded to talk over me asking what we wanted to order.. then when I began to order she stuck up her finger and cut me off to say hold on. Yikes.

I'd give them a 5 star if they'd ACTUALLY stop blending my smoothie with water when I order it with extra juice instead, and pay for it. I buy myself smoothies on rough days, so it really sucks when it is made wrong. I starter going to another location out of my way as a result ?

Quick service but tasted very good and only one person was on drinks so good job to them

Buyer beware. Put my credit card in and was automatically charged a tip. When I brought it to the cashier’s attention she told me “well, I guess you did” even though no such authority was given. My sandwich was wet and the corn was stale and old. Was my first and last visit to this location. Rude service, and they expected to be tipped for it. Wouldn’t even star if I could review without it.
