Ride in the Valli del Natisone. Back from Vernasso, we needed to find a restaurant in the area. This place was a discovery. Simple, friendly, great service, excellent value for money. Simple menu: low prices, variety of Friulian dishes with some chicca in the Valli area. I recommend gnocchi alle ortiche e la trota all'antica recipe: cooked 10 hours and marinated according to tradition, it guarantees a unique taste. Good also the pheasant and to try absolutely (see the area in San Pietro al Natisone, home of excellence of this dessert) the artisan gubana. I'll be back
The place is small, beautiful wall with hanging covers of old sugar mills. we ate very well, the very thoughtful owner. We'll be back.
I was at lunch at the Invito event in Pranzo nelle Valli. Great menus, courtesy and sympathy. I recommend it.
While having passed many times in front of this place, we stopped for the first time last night to try the menu of L' invitation to lunch . We were greeted and served with great kindness, exquisite food and well presented, good wine. We'll definitely be back.
