S'esplanada - Ciutadella de Menorca

We stopped here for dinner on an evening visit for the artisan market in Cuitadella, we took a table on the plaza which was nice. Service was fast and efficient, prices more reasonable than we expected compared to resorts. We all had pizza which we shared, all were tasty but the barbacoa was the favourite. 4 drinks, 3 pizzas and a fries to share was 40 odd euro. Nice central location and good service, would return.

We were looking for lunch as part of our visit to Ciutadella and came across S’planada on Place Pins. We timed it just right as the restaurant filled pretty quickly after we were seated. We eat under the umbrellas on the edge of the square which was great to get out of the sun and also to people watch. The menu offers a range of dishes from hearty sandwiches to tapas. We both ordered paella, I had one with chicken and my wife had seafood. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Our paellas were served at the table and were delicious. This is a great venue for lunch and if you have children with you the adjacent play area might give you a few minutes peace! The only drawback is the number of pigeons that frequent the park, they’re not intrusive but keep an eye open for them.

Ambiente muy agradable, muy buena comida casera, trato súper agradable por parte de todo el personal.Muy, muy recomendable.

Muy buena atencion e implicacion de los camareros. Servicio rapido y preciso. Muy recomendable paellas, patatas bravas, albondigas y croquetas de pollo. Combinados a precio razonable. Sin duda dejamos propina por el personal. Para repetir.
