I have searched for local reviews to see if there was a good new restaurant that I might want to try in the opposite of el paso/juarez, and I remember this restaurant. this review is actually by when we were there 2.5 years ago dined. that I have to write the review 2 years later, is a note that I remember how vexed I was through the experience, and I think that a highly rated and quite expensive restaurant could be better. I personally can't care about my head the 1 rank in juarez. I think it is because it is in a niche in juarez for a continental kitchen with a Mexican twist that is missing in J city. the good at the restaurant is that they can say that they use pretty good ingredients and they seem fresh. the basic cooking style of the once, steaks, salmon seemed all good and the consistency and texture of the eating was good. I would not say, however, that there is something really extraordinary about the menu and the menu selection on the smaller side. I would say that the quality of the menu points are equivalent to a very good continental kitchen that she could find in a good to very good American restaurant specializing in this style of kitchen. that is said, although their type of cooking is very good, I didn't think it was exceptional and nothing seemed really economical or smiling in their mouth delicious. I personally thought that eating was something under seasoned, but that could be the taste. some people really want to have a style of cooking that really transfers the taste of the actual meat, sweet and simple sauces. Although the quality of the ingredients were fresh and good, I didn't think they were using something so special that this kind of mild flavor would require so that everything tastes a little dirty to me. the presentation of the dishes seemed above average. Normally, a restaurant like this would begin in a 4-star rating based on eating itself. the value according to J-town standards is low. the sizes are small and each dish is expensive for J-town. their portions are really for prix fix curs meals not standing alone dishes. I'd take half a point for that. service hours were bad. I will say that at this time they have 2-3 bigger tables in the game, but it didn't seem like they were underoccupied, and I don't think they even tried. it took 30 minutes to get water and an hour for them to take our order and about 45 minutes after the trip to get our entries. that loses 1 point. we did not get any refills of our waters for the 2 hours we were there. they lacked an entry when they broke out our courts and the court took them to prepare additional 30 minutes. the setting of the server and the atmosphere he created was quite bad. we were a table of 6, and 3 at the table were modest, although I paid and ordered only one one pot, as they thought the prices were high. after we have ordered, it became quite clear that we would last be on their service list. a table that came in 45 minutes after we had received her food before we did. someone at the hour table asked if the salmon on the menu was wild caught or raised farm and the server did not know not disturb to find out and seemed very annoying. someone on our table asked to do a steak medium rare 1 minute and the server was again very annoying. we were not rude, and we were pretty low, so I'm not sure why we got this answer. that loses another point. a funny part of the story is that since my wife and I love eating I wanted to try out some of the other dishes, since the restaurant should be well valued for eating so that we discreetly tries some of the dishes of other people in the table. the server noticed and had a look at total taste on his face. What do you want me to say? I love eating and I love it, especially if it's good. I have done this in various restaurants in many countries, many of them very nice restaurants. I've never had a problem. some restaurants love eating and love the interaction of eating and people. this place seems to love the pretension, to be a fine device of fine food. I didn't like the overall experience. eating was pretty good, but it wasn't great. I think this facility could fill a certain niche for the restaurant market juarez, which has no good continental cuisine, but due to the scarcity in this kitchen and its high trip adviser rankings they may have fallen into the pretension of their own brand. the total cost was just over $200, but three members at the table had only braided meat stuff. fair prices due to juarez standards, but worse it was a spot on juarez service standards. juarez has some of the best service personnel standards I have seen everywhere. this was a great disappointment, especially because I had made a special trip with my family to meet with sat to eat in the restaurant.
Although the service was really good and the atmosphere very demanding, the board serving are very small. we were 6 adult men, I spent $1200 dollars (yes I did! and I left the place hungry. they are trying to live there, weeping. great, if in fact they are simply undercut and they are on the weeping prices when they leave them. if it is not important for them to be overloaded and used, that is their place.
Have eaten three times here and it's always better than elsewhere. I have heard that it was not moved business or elsewhere in juarez, but the chef has been named in the stanton hotel in el paso with the restaurant. Taft Diaz That is very good, exciting and has cocktails made of crafts.
I really don't think there is a restaurant in the region that can compare to Flor del Nogal. it s really SUPERB. Dinner is the meal to have. Lunch is not as spectacular as dinner. it is located right in the middle of I don't...know where, but once you get there, there is no comparison. It is a very small restaurant, so you DO NEED to make reservations ahead of time. Any dish you order will be AMAZING. Don't get frustrated to hear English around you since every time I have been there, there is at least one other table with American people, but you still get that amazing taste of Mexican dishes. Do make an effort to go, it is worth every single minute.
