Friendly, good food! We liked it all!!!!Nice beachy feel. Good to have new Restaurantes in Mar del Plata! We welcome you and wish you luck. Oh! And the support of some local muscians that come and play at times!

Love this place, with the unusual menu for Mar del Plata.Very casual and informal atmosphere, food generally excellent, prawns pil pil as good as before, and very generous portions, but the Asian platter lacked something.My friend, who is reluctant to try anything different (silly boy) had lasagne, which was just ok.Staff friendly but obvious that the owner (A Swedish lady if I remember) was not there that night. But this IS a special place if you have the guts to sample something different!In the middle of nowhere, but worth seeking out, and you must book!

Mi mundo has a simple "month menu" with plenty of delicious food. You can taste the plates were carefully prepared with fresh ingredients. You can check the "month menu" on their website.The atmosphere and the service were great. If the weather is nice, make sure to book a table in the patio/garden.

At last, a wonderful restaurant with a different menu from all the others in MDP. Here, there is a smaller menu, concentrating on Oriental and Mediterranean flavours. Three of us all chose different things, and we were all more than happy with our choices. Langustinos al Pil Pil were to die for....very spicy...delicious!!!Casual and friendly environment, slightly more expensive than other places, but worth every peso!On my next visit to MDP, this will be my first choice.

"Mi mundo" is a restaurant off the beaten path in the beach city of Mar del Plata. It 's without a doubt a hidden gem in the culinary world of a city that oozes with mediocre meat and pasta joints. First of all, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming, the garden reminded me of the greek islands' tavernas, the interior of a colorful and very arty farmers' house (All the art you see on the walls is for sale by the way).We visited with family and young kids and they were very accomodating. The waitresses are kind and can answer any question on the menu. The menu has something for everyone. We chose fish, pasta and meat and were not disappointed with any dish. On the contrary the quality and taste were superb, from the home-made bread and dip to the divine desserts. One might wonder why I did not rate it as excellent. There were a couple of things that did not correspond to the high standards I think they have set themselves. There was a mix up in the order and the bill, but that is absolutely to be expected in the busiest time of the year. What disappointed me was a culinary detail: The fish was cooked with its skin -great for taste - but not all the scales had been taken out. That made for a very unpleasant first couple of bites and the waste of quite a bit of delicious meat in order to remove the skin that was not crunchy enough to separate. we will definitely be going back to "Mi mundo" and I am confident my next review will be a 5-stars one.
