Best bread I’ve ever had! I had a fresh sourdough multigrain loaf, with caraway, sunflower seeds, and poppy seeds. A rainbow burst of flavors, feom the initial crusty chewiness of caraway to the poppy, and finally the gorgeous sourdough finish WOW!!! Just sitting here eating it straight out of the bag, with the occasional butter and honey. Also the pastries are amazing. Very safe in their COVID precaution. Worth a trip.
One of the shops is right around the corner from my work. I went in today to try the French pastries..I am so glad I tried this place! If you are looking for a coffee and a delicious French pastry go try it! It will be worth your while!
We just discovered the Scratch Bakehouse in Syracuse. What a find! They specialize in delicious bread, pastries and cookies from whole grain flour. I impulse bought their Focaccia at the Fayetteville farmer's market last week and loved it. Today, we happened to notice their store on Brighton while on an errand to the south side of Syracuse and walked out with some olive/polenta bread, morning buns and more. Now I'm going to have to make a trip south of downtown every time we visit SYR.
