Recess Coffee - City of Syracuse

I came in to order a coffee and a tea for the morning. My husband's coffee was black, not a cappuccino with oatmilk like i asked, and I'm positive they upcharged me for. I then asked for Vanilla Cold foam on my tea, not added either. I was so mad I just walked out. How do your baristas not know how to make anything especially when there was no line??? no one elses coffee was being made.

The peanut butter, banana, cold brew and blueberry, oat slushy are hands down THE best drinks. We come to town once a year and a stop to Recess is at the top on our list. Ridiculously delicious!

Second time we get coffee from this place and I honestly never thought it'd be so hard for anybody to make a Cappucino yet it seems like a constant struggle in Syracuse. Place full of inexperiened baristas that don't care about your drinks. Made me the most burnt coffee I have ever drank, didn't even add any milk it seems and barely filled it halfway. The coffee tasted so bad that I'm honestly happy they didnt't fill it the whole way as it is going straight to the trash. A coffee shop that respects itself should have actual trained Baristas and not just minimum wage teenagers or college students to save money!

The BEST coffee shop. The staff are always wonderful. The location is perfect the inside is super cute! My favorites are the mocha (with oatmilk! the CST. Divine! My boyfriend loves the mocha (with normal milk the classic. You really can’t go wrong with their food and coffee. The seasonal drinks are also delightful.

Amazing place! super cute and food and drinks are delicious. nice place to sit and chat or get work done! Vegetarian options: Lots of options, even notes when something cant be made vegan/vegetarian!
