Van Dyck Lounge - City of Schenectady

My husband and I were very impressed with the food at Mad Jack Brewery at the Van Dyke. Everything was delicious, the wings were cooked crispy to perfection, the beer battered fish was crunchy and everything stayed intact. But the piece de resistance was the dessert. The s'mores skillet was to die for!!!!! I would go back just for that alone. Our server was friendly and attentive and made our first visit there a great one.

Interesting place. Don 't let the outside fool you. It feels like an expensive, upscale restraunt, pub, brewery but the prices are great. Really enjoyed the 'Adult Grill Cheese ' and the craft beers. Very good beers and a decent menu. Food was very good. Lovely outdoor seating area surrounded by large trees.

This is a great place great food plus at times music from Commander Cody to Liv Taylor etc they have played there. Beer is made on spot too.

Unique menu items that are delicious and amazing beers. I had the taco mac and cheese with chicken and their seasonal jack o lantern beer.

Great local find. It is quite like a pub in the UK. Very attentive server and good happy hour.
