Lanai - City of Rochester

I was just here once, but it was a very positive experience. We went to a random week night, so there were only a few tables next to us. They have tables on both floors and a full bar on the first floor. Decor is enchanting. Bright and clean appearance. Someone welcomed us as soon as we got in. They had a complete vegan menu for me and a regular menu for my friend. I ordered the Tofu-Bulgogi and a Margarita. Margarita was okay. But the food was absolutely delicious. The sauce on the tofu had so much taste and was just the right amount of spicy. My friend ordered the chicken version of my plate and he also enjoyed it thoroughly. The server was attentive and nice. I look forward to coming back and more from the vegan menu!

Delicious food and great service. I'll admit I was a little tentative to try some of the more unique dishes like the tuna poke or Korean poutine, but everything was made very well and the flavors paired perfectly. If you chose one of the dishes that's only $8 or less, I would recommend trying two if you're hungry.

Had a great frozen mixed drink here. This is a new place but they seem to have everything together, good service and atmosphere, clean. The restrooms were decent. I enjoyed it there. I think it will do really well during the summer as they have several 'slushi ' machines that they make drinks like Pina coladas in. Very tasty.

We shared the Poke, the Kimchi Rangoon, and the ManaPuas. The food was tasty and the service was decent,save for our server forgetting we also ordered scallion pancakes. In the end what we split we were full from, so we didnt need it. $40 all told not bad. The cocktail choices on the menu weren't particularly my favorite, but then again I'm not interested in those so much.

The bartender Amanda was amazing! The ambiance was perfect for a date night. The food left our taste buds dancing! And did we mention how fantastic Amanda is!!
