Bajarito - City of Peekskill

Came in NO ONE in the place ordered 50.00 of food asked for sour cream and my mom asked for salsa on the side. We did not get the sour cream or salsa which is alarming to me since NO ONE was in the restaurant the girl told me we could come back to getthe sour cream and salsa I was already home and it would be faster to go to the grocery store. To bad because the food is good.Being in the business as a hospitality publicist I just hate when my order is incorrect knowing i was the only order at thattime. I give a lot of leeway re the pandemic and finding good staff but if anything these days restaurants should be on top ofeverything to keep customers coming in.

There's some great food here, the burritos are some of the best I've had in a while. The survice though leaves much to be desired. The wait times are long and the place is understaffed which explains why. They need to improve the speed and service toget me to want to come back regularly.

I live in North Jersey but discovered the waterfront of Peekskill on a motorcycle ride up through Bear Mountain. Since then I've been to the area countless times. I wanted to try Buns N Bourbon, as I usually go to Taco Dive Bar. To my surprise, BnBwas gone!! In the same building, was a new place, BAJARITO!! From here you can build your own burrito, and/or get tacos fromTaco Dive Bar. I ordered a burrito. Vegetarian...built my own. I have to say... It was probably the best looking and besttasting burrito I have ever had. This is not a paid advertising lol it's totally true. Smart sharp energetic bar staff, fastdelicious food, great view, great scenery. I highly recommend you visit the region and hit each of the eateries anddrinkeries. Safety protocols were observed. Mask up, distancing etc
