Udon Lab - City of New York

My all-time favorite comfort food is the mentaiko udon.

The Korean spicy udon is my top choice! It's absolutely delicious!

The Niku Udon was decent, but nothing extraordinary. I requested a poached egg as a topping, but they served me a regular hard-boiled egg instead, which was quite disappointing.

The food was good, but the prices were quite high. The ramen and udon were tasty, but I wouldn't say they were worth $20-25 a bowl. On the positive side, the staff was very attentive and friendly, and the restaurant had a nice decor. I understand that the rent must be expensive, but I personally won't be returning unless I'm looking to splurge.

My friend and i ordered their vegetarian hot udon and it was delicious. the portions are big. the interior and atmosphere were really nice.
