The Dumpling Cove - City of New York

Super nice people! Party atmosphere. Great service. Awesome food! The curry goat I can never find and this place made it exceptionally good! I got the medium size which I will take 3 days to eat. So much and so good! I will go out of my way to come back for sure ?Food: 5/5

Food is delicious but portions are small (mainly rice) and I would say expensive as well. So it doesn’t really pan out especially when compared to similar restaurants in area. However they do offer entertainment in the evening hours so that’s fun. I’m not sure if they still have it but previously had karaoke. Waitress was friendly and courteous. She was both bartender and watress. After we ordered it took an hour and fifteen minutes before the food was served. The jerk and brown stewed chicken was dry. Will not be going there again.Food: 2/5

This place is a definite no go for in the future. Staff was rude and unprofessional. One lady was yell on her cell phone while there was a line of people waiting. When a customer spoke up she told him he can go somewhere else. The fires dumplings where greasy and had way too much baking soda. It was like biting into nothing. The Fish I bought was stale and you could tell it was re-warmed. Overall the service and the price would make it not worth it even if the food was better.

Looks like a nice neat restaurant… not too sure about the attitude of the workers here though…They serve mainly Jamaican dishes.I would think the food is a little bit pricey… I would recommend you try it out for yourself!
