The Buren - City of New York

I came to this restaurant several times because I wanted to try the fusion food and I enjoyed the ambience with all the artwork. However, I was on my menstrual period one time, and accidentally left some blood in the bathroom. The next day, the male owner scolded me and expressed that he will not welcome me at the restaurant again because of the said incident, even after I explained to him it was an accident. If you come here, make sure you don’t forget about your menstrual period. I respect hard-working people, and I give them credits for their food, their work ethics and their commitment to support artists. However, scolding your customer for something that they did not do on purpose takes away the grace and beauty of the place.

They offer filipino rice bowls which I love and its a nice quaint place on this part of Brooklyn. Not crazy expensive too.

I just didn't like it. Overpriced breakfast Meal. 17.00 for a platter? The server was nice, I just didn't like it.
