Taqueria Restaurante Mi Barrio 2

IM MEXICAN FROM BIRTH AND THIS FOOD IS NOT REALLY MEXICAN FOOD. español abajo)I ordered a quesadilla with steak was 13 dollar which is ok if the food is good but they gave me 3 deep fried tortilla with the most CHEWY OLD MEAT! I at first was like well let me try but it was so bad. The beans tasted like fridge air. My father got rice beans and steak with onions they barley had onions his meat was BURNED on one side. THE ART IS SUPER NICE but needs some cleaning old decore. NASTY OLD CHAIRS it just needs a good mop and a passing of a good rag. The tables need their table cloth even with just some cheap plastic and a mantel would be good. The lights are low in a bad way one light is out and the fan smelled like dust. In the end total was 45 for old meat and something dint ask form. LOVELY WAITRESS SHE WAS SO NICE I GAVE TIP BECAUSE SHE WAS SO LOVELY. But overal bad food their cheeper and better foods not to far

Really bad food the the delivery it’s garbage I have to wait 1hours and 20 minutes for a carne asada. No lo recomiendo

Never again. Ordered through UberEats the other day. Delivery was quick which was good but the food was beyond subpar. Got the Torta de Pollo Asado with no beans and pickled jalapeños on the side. Chicken was dry and poorly seasoned. Bit into a piece of chicken fat, which was gross as well. The torta had the thinnest slice of tomato I ever saw and ngl if I hadn't seen the lettuce I wouldn't even notice it was there. The only pluses were the mozzarella cheese and the avocado, which was only on half the torta. In short, worse torta I ever had. Also ordered two orders of chicken tenders, but received chicken nuggets instead. There is a BIG difference between chicken tenders and chicken nuggets. Chicken tenders are white meat and chicken nuggets are god knows what meat. If they ran out of tenders, I would have greatly appreciated a call and I would've swapped for something else. To top it off, nuggets were dry af. Paid $1 extra for the salsa verde $0.50 each). Sauce was extremely diluted to the point where it was just liquid. First and definitely the last time I order from here!

Ordered from this restaurant on Grubhub. I waited two hours, and called the restaurant to see what the status of my order was. The individual over the phone claimed not to speak English even though she was speaking it just fine in the beginning. Then I proceeded to speak Spanish (I 'm Puerto Rican, not fluent, but able to have a conversation). The individual kept repeating in English what I was saying like I didn 't know what I was saying. I was saying I order two hours ago and she kept saying two orders in English. Finally when she understood what I order she said they ran out to that particular dish. I proceeded to asked why I was called 2 hours ago when I ordered it and she claimed that the internet was down. Just very disappointed at the lack of consideration for the wait. First and last time I order from this restaurant.

Nothing fancy, but fantastic good. Carnitas tacos are the bomb
