Shorty's Philly Steaks And Sandwiches

Take out only! It's too bad they moved post-COVID and got rid of the great bar atmosphere for watching Philly sports, but the sandwich bread is still fresh. I keep buying cheesesteaks, the Phillies keep winning postseason baseball games.

I visited this place almost every day. I love the nice cashier girl who is already fast and polite. You can tell she really cares and enjoys the job!!!! However, the bread for cheesesteak was too hard yesterday and the wings were totally soggy today! Anyone can make better wings than that! The wings they made taste just like those made by microwave. So disappointed!!!!!! Be aware of the wings!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic!!! We ordered delivery wondering if the sandwich and wings would be hot. OMG, their food is incredible. I'm so glad we now know that they deliver as well.

First time in NYC and wanted to try cheesesteaks but I found it wasn't worth the hype. Pros: location easy to find worker was nice no issues bun was soft Cons: taste a bit dry no sauce. cost to portion ratio not really there.
