Peking Chinese - City of New York

This is the only Chinese takeout I get when I visit my parents in Fresh Meadows. I've sampled many places in the area, and none can compare. I understand that some might think takeout is all the same, but trust me as a Chinese person—this place makes the best Sesame Chicken and Fried Rice. Lunchtime and dinner hours can get really busy, so it's a good idea to call ahead for pickup. If you haven't tried this restaurant yet, be sure to give it a chance!

I waited over 15 minutes, and they didn't even start my order. The restaurant appeared dirty, and I saw rats running near the counter. I would recommend avoiding this place, as the customer service was also terrible.

I used to buy duck from this restaurant all the time, but I haven’t been there in a while and decided to return. When I asked for duck, the staff member was really rude and just kept saying "No." I tried to explain that I used to get duck there regularly, but she wouldn’t let me finish and continued insisting that they didn’t have any. In the end, my girlfriend called in an order for duck, and they took it without issue. Regardless, I have no intention of returning to this place anymore.

They charge tax on the food which is ok and on top of that if you use credit card there is a 3% fee for it. The food price is high and taste ok.

I ordered chicken wings with pork fried rice from this restaurant, but I received only a half box of rice and three wings. When I called to address the issue, the woman on the line told me, "I packed your food, and there were four wings; this has never happened with other customers." I couldn't believe her audacity, as if my money didn't matter and I was just complaining for no reason. I've ordered from this place before and know exactly what to expect for what I paid. I definitely didn't pay for just a half box of food and missing wings from my order.
