I love it, traveled great distance just to get a hero. I missed it. Haven't found another place that makes it the same.

Love this store , great service . My sandwhich taste so good ? bacon and cheese on a bagel no eggs ? because you know bacon egg and cheese the NY sandwhich ??

I’ve lived nearby for nearly 8 years and somehow missed this hidden gem. I recently saw an article about their unique artichoke parmigiana hero, and finally had a chance to order that and their egg salad hero and also potato salad delivery.Not only was everything extremely affordable, it came quickly and was DELICIOUS!! The artichoke parm was a revelation, hit a spot like a classic nyc meatball sub in a vegetarian way. The potato salad was OFF THE wall good. And the egg salad was totally solid.This is my new local affordable favorite.Heads up they close at 4:30pm so get your order in earlier in day.

I drop in once and awhile when im in the area and really hungry.The Italian combo sub is actually pretty good. I would recommend but it needs more meat. Stay away from the chicken Parm. It's seems akin to something you would get in NYC public schools at lunchtime. It's like chicken patty w filler- not actual chicken cutlet.The staff is really friendly and hard working- however- If theres more than two people ahead of you, prepare to wait for at least 15- 20 mins. The staff is awesome though and they are the gems that make this place worthwhile.All in all- nothing fancy, just a bodega that sells some household items, some beverages and makes some sandwiches. Some of their sandwiches are good, some should be avoided. Seems to be a neighborhood staple.*Pros- approachable, affordable, decent Italian combo subs, beer in cooler, friendly staff, not overpriced, easy location, household goods- authentic neighborhood spot- not some b.s overpriced hipster bullsh*t.*Cons- very slow if busy, not many sandwich options, not good chicken Parm.

It’s good. But is artichoke par@ the best sandwich of my life? Unsure. (I’m vegetarian also). But it’s good. The potato and egg is not worth it
