King Wok Chinese - City of New York

I grew up nearby, and I absolutely love this place. It holds a special spot in my heart, and I really wish it were closer to me now.

I usually don’t write negative reviews, but the fried chicken I had at this Chinese restaurant was truly disappointing. It was overcooked, and they charged me a dollar for BBQ sauce on the rice. I thought that was outrageous, but I agreed if they would give me a generous amount. This is what they provided. The rice itself was also terrible.

I've been dining at this restaurant since I moved to the neighborhood, and it truly is the best.

Honestly, I dislike rating local places low, but the food I had from here was absolutely terrible. Burnt and foul shrimp, terrible experience. I hope they improve on it. Paid nearly 30+ dollars and had to throw out most of the food, cause of how foul it was.
